2025 Diverse Teacher Pipeline Grantees Announced
Congratulations to our 2025 Diverse Teacher Pipeline Grant Awardees! This year, we’re awarding eight organizations across the country that are making a difference in helping support diverse teacher pipelines throughout their communities with various award amounts totalling $500,000. This year’s recipients are:
- Breakthrough Collaborative (National)
- CityTutor DC (Washington, D.C.)
- EmpowerEd (Washington, D.C
- Teach Plus Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania)
- Man Up Teacher Fellowship (Tennessee)
- Project Sankofa (California)
- Teachers Supporting Teachers Everywhere Inc. (Michigan)
- Watts of Power Foundation (California)
This year’s grantees were selected for their bold approaches to recruiting, developing, and retaining teachers of color, including partnering with HBCUs, developing culturally relevant mentorship and affinity programs, implementing innovative staffing models, supporting alternative certification pathways, offering housing assistance, and much more!
Through this grant, these organizations will be able to implement programs and frameworks to support a more diverse teaching workforce that reflects our increasingly diverse student population.
