Managing Director of Training & Implementation (Full-time, Remote)

We are seeking a Managing Director of Training & Implementation to lead the high-quality execution of all of our Teaching Pathways programs, including Freedom Schools Literacy Academy (May-August), Teaching Academy (year-round) and Black Teacher Pipeline Fellowship (August-April).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing programmatic metrics and goals and supporting the data and evaluation process
  • Using data to continually improve training and program implementation
  • Ensuring the overall quality, health, and fidelity of training and program implementation towards set goals, in alignment with CBED’s mission

Anticipated 15-25 hours per week working with CBED’s departments and external stakeholders/partners on program implementation and meeting milestones in grant agreements, reporting regularly to the various funding agencies, representing CBED to funders, and working with the accounting/finance teams on fiscal oversight for grant funds.

Leads the high-quality execution of all of our Teaching Pathways programs. Responsible for developing metrics/goals and providing high-level central oversight of training and programmatic implementation with fidelity to our mission. Works closely with other Managing Directors to launch, execute, and continually improve programming.

Responsible for the high-quality execution of in-person summer Freedom Schools Literacy Academy in Philadelphia and Teaching Academy, providing central oversight, training and leadership in the implementation of programming to ensure we meet goals and operate with fidelity to our mission. Works closely with the Curriculum Department and the Program Operations Department to launch, execute and continually improve programming.

Full-time, Hybrid

Hybrid – Philadelphia, PA

Responsible for the high-quality execution of Teaching Academy programming at multiple school sites across the country, providing central oversight, training and leadership to ensure we meet programmatic goals and operate with fidelity according to our mission. Works closely with the Curriculum Department and the Program Operations Department to launch, execute and continually improve programming.
